Description:
The EGT meter is ideal for monitoring the condition of the engine. On the one hand, you can use this clever instrument to check whether the exhaust gases coming out of the engine are so hot that they could damage the engine. In addition, with two-stroke engines there is no way of measuring the ratio of the air/fuel mixture in order to adjust the carburettor. The EGT meter is also helpful here: an unfavourable mixture ratio can be recognised immediately by the fact that the exhaust gases become very hot.
